Modern haptic laminates are extremely durable against scuffing and rubbing. We can apply laminates in a wide range of textures from a luxurious, rose petal feel to a gritty, rugged texture; from a fine leather feel to an elegant linen fabric pattern.

Matt / Dull Coating

Intermedia prints the right coating beautifully. Matte or dull coating is scuff resistant and is usually applied overall. It will flatten images slightly.

Standard Gloss or Aqueous Coating

We print can print a standard aqueous gloss coating on your printed product from business cards to multipage booklets to protect and enhance the printed piece. It is biodegradable and provides good protection from fingerprints and blemishes.

Satin AQ Coating

Satin AQ coating is a good compromise between a matte and gloss finish. It is biodegradable, provides good protection and a nice sheen. Is is a popular option for many of our clients!

UV Coating

Our ultra high gloss UV coating option is available on all coated cover stocks and many coated text weight papers. We can apply it overall or print a spot UV to highlight part of the design.

SoftTouch™ Aqueous Coating

We use SoftTouch™ aqueous coating to create a suede-like texture and extreme matte appearance. It is best to print on a high quality gloss stock for the best effect. It has also been called "liquid velvet" and "soft feel." The image will flatten slightly though the suede-like feel will increase the "wow" factor.
